We began the day in a studio to escape the summer heat and finished up her last two until the sun went down. I’m obsessed with this bridge location with this dress! My goal is (to attempt) to make each senior session special with different locations and inspiration (which can be hard to do sometimes). It takes time, planning, and brainstorming by both myself and my seniors. Honestly, my biggest hope though, is that I can capture a glimpse into who my seniors are at this point in time. Carly messaged me that these captured her personality and her perfectly, and that is always the very best compliment I can receive. 🫶🏼 I have so many wonderful seniors. Let me tell you about my friends @lmosser22 and @carter_siedel7. I have known Carter since we were freshman in high school (we met in English class🤣) and Lauren and her family since we were in middle school. I was blessed to capture Lauren’s mom’s wedding and her brother’s senior photos, and now I am lucky enough to be able capture her and Carter’s special day! Let me just say that you will not find two more genuine, selfless, and kind hearted people. They are wonderful as individuals and even better together. I feel lucky to have this job and be able to learn and document important events and new cultures. Indian weddings are traditionally multi-day celebrations that involve many intricate ceremonies, sometimes lasting up to 7 days. They combined the traditional Baraat, Varmala ceremony as well as a traditional American wedding the following day. Truly a beautiful couple, and a big thank you to Ethan & Sonia for allowing me to help document their love!
